In April of '20, Jennifer and Peter had to postpone their big wedding celebration. However, they still went ahead and had an incredible impromptu civil ceremony in Central Park which I had the honor of photographing. You can see those pictures here, along with their feature in the New York Times.
After a few more schedule changes and continuing uncertainty with COVID, they made the unfortunate decision to cancel. But to mark their first anniversary, they wanted a special photo session, complete with the classic NYC taxi cab (from Film Cars) that they originally planned to have... and to include their brand new fur baby, Buffy!
We returned to the exact spot in Central Park where they tied the knot, then met up with the taxi for a couple stops at Lincoln Center and Riverside Park. Jennifer sported a custom jacket from Suite by Jennifer Diederich, complete with illustrations done by Carly Martin of The Clementine Studio. One of the best parts of this jacket was the illustration based on one of my photos from their engagement session...
Now with their second anniversary right around the corner, Jennifer and Peter have just welcomed a new family member... a beautiful baby boy to be a non-furry friend to Buffy!
