Nia and Ty Engagement + Wedding - Brooklyn, NY

I never combine an engagement session and wedding into one blog post, but I had to make an exception for these two. Both took place within two weeks, and the vibes never wavered.

A mix of digital and film images were snapped (employing a variety of different cameras). For their engagement session, Nia was hoping to recreate an image of her grandparents at Japanese Hill-and-Pond Garden at the Brooklyn Botanic Garden. I did the best I could with my '52 Rolleiflex (which was roughly the same year the original photo was taken!)

Fast-forward a couple weeks, and now we find ourselves at The Plaza for the morning prep and first look. We were whisked off to the Brooklyn Federal Court Building to make it official. Then the three of us hopped around Brooklyn and Manhattan for portraits, ending our adventure at Tavern on the Green... (was that Jamie Lee Curtis who just walked by us?!)
